Why Well Rooted
We hold a deep conviction that every child is unique, with their own set of interests and gifts. We understand that you are the primary educator for your child, and we aim to complement and enhance the educational journey you are already on. We partner with families in an innovative approach that transforms the traditional classroom setting into a collaborative one-room schoolhouse. Students from age 5-11 engage in learning, playing, and growing together as a community. We prioritize STEM, learning outdoors, emphasize life skills development, and provide tailored small group and individual lessons to meet each child at their own level for core subjects.
School Can Be So Much More
At Well Rooted, we understand that traditional school days can be long, rigid and tedious. That’s why we offer two or three day options each week for our students. Our classes are small and are designed to create a true sense of community where everyone's needs are met. Our students leave with a sense of belonging, having made lasting friendships that will benefit them throughout their lives.
What Ages Can Join
Well Rooted is for kids in traditional K-5 grade levels. Because of multi-age "classroom", students are able to practice real-world relationships and gain healthier social skills by interacting with kids who of different ages.
Days of the Week we have School
We are a Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday Microschool. We have options for two or three days week.
Our Curriculum
We use the Minnesota State Standards as the framework of any curriculum we use.
It can be hard to find curriculum that has all the components of the state standards. We use these sets of curriculums to meet the frameworks of the State Standards:
